ABOUT US
CHURCH VISION STATEMENT
Our vision is to prepare this church for today and the future through preaching of the gospel of Jesus Christ and through training as Christian believers, to live for Christ.
-
To live as examples for Christ in this society.
-
To provide a well-rounded living for the immediate family.
-
To specifically prepare each person to live in heaven.
-
To understand that the Bible is a reliable source of the gifts and benefits of God. And to live by its words.
This is achieved by way of edifying the body of Christ through:
-
Preaching of the gospel of Jesus Christ who was crucified, buried, and resurrected to life eternal.
-
Christian Education: through Sunday school, Vacation Bible School, Wednesday Night Prayer/Bible study, Nursery and Children’s church. Where the word of God is taught and clarity of scripture is induced.
-
Our teachers are prepared spiritually, emotionally and physically, to lead and teach those that are set before them. Punctuality in preparation, prayer and attendance is of utmost importance.
-
Our Sunday school staff must forever be in an evangelistic mode. Always seeking those that are attending church, but are not attending Sunday school.
-
Set a standing goal to double their class attendance by seeking those inside and outside the church body.
To encourage all church members to be consistent in attendance and committed to God in their worship by serving; giving, helping and praying for each other. Find your gift whether it is singing, ushering, missions, and teaching, just to name a few. Our aim is to have everyone involved in the operation of the church and to produce a living body that brings people out of darkness into His marvelous light.
MISSIONS STATEMENT
We endeavor to love all people, regardless of race, creed, color or national origin, religious preference, religious background, or personal history. ‘For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have eternal life,’ John 3:16. Whereas God is love, therefore we love. For in this body ‘there is neither Jew nor Greek (Non-Jew), there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for we are all one in Christ Jesus.’ Gal 3:28. We further endeavor to, ‘Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, and the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.’ Matt 28:19-20. We are a caring church purchased by the blood of Jesus and endeavoring all to be transformed to the mind of Christ.
